Our staff at Small Strides are loving and caring individuals, dedicated to helping your child learn and grow. Our staff and teachers meet all requirements mandated by the Washoe County Department of Social Services. All of our staff and teachers are required to have the following:

• A Sheriff's work permit
• Training in the prevention of communicable diseases
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Training in recognizing and reporting child abuse and neglect
• Maintain at least 15 hours of continuing education classes in the field of early Childhood Education.

Ryan Nicole Binker is the owner of Small Strides. Ryan has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a major in Management from the University of Nevada, Reno. Ryan has personally worked in the childcare field and managed a childcare program for numerous years. She is also a BLS instructor and continues her education in the field of Early Childhood Education.

Ryan is involved in the everyday operation of the center. Ryan has experienced working in all aspects of childcare; from changing diapers to managing 50 employees. A hands-on management approach is part of what makes Small Strides great! At Small Strides we know how valuable good employees are, that is why every employee at Small Strides is valued and treated with the utmost respect.
